Colander Hat
Keeps the soup out and the thoughts in. Mostly.
Loot. Merge. Climb.
A pixel loot roguelike for Android. Fight room by room up through a castle that sank three hundred years ago and never stopped working.
The real game is the backpack
Win a room, pick one of three drops. Equip it, merge it, or sell it for gold. Your gear decides your skills: a shield gives you Shield Bash, an axe gives you Cleave, a vampiric amulet drinks your enemy's health.
Item names are real. So is the hat.
Keeps the soup out and the thoughts in. Mostly.
The Captain's old sword. Still sulking about the gate.
Solid silver, royal crest, slightly bent. The King has been asking after it.
Portrait, tap-only, turn-based. A room takes under a minute, a run under twenty.
Families, sets and item skills stack into builds you plan on the fly.
Knights and goblins played straight, with flavour text that is not.
Ads are always optional. Money never buys power. Everything can be earned.
Still on duty after three hundred years

The legend of Varrow
King Osric feared death above all else, so he wished that no one in his kingdom would ever truly die. The wish was granted the literal way: the earth swallowed Varrow, castle, court and king, so nothing there could ever end.
You are the Captain of the Night Watch, the last man seen at his post when the ground opened. The court has blamed you ever since. Every time you fall, you wake in a forgotten storeroom in the lowest cellar, and the few folk still loyal to you help you try again.
Made for one thumb
Tap an enemy for a free attack or fire one of three skills from your gear. Watch the enemy's intent, plan your turn, and drag your loot into place between rooms.
Every five rooms, a shop or a rest. Every floor, a boss.
